‘Tis the season for the creative do-it-yourselfer!
In this hands-on workshop you will make a festive terrarium to take home. To complete the holiday theme we will have mini plants such as Christmas cactus and poinsettia and holiday themed terrarium accessories. Terrariums are also wicked fun to make, so bring a friend or family member.
We’ll begin by learning how to build a terrarium, then you’ll get to choose from a variety of mini plants, natural materials gathered from the nursery grounds, and accessories (including mini lights!). Then we’ll get creating!
Workshop fee is $40 per terrarium. You may want to make more than one as terrariums make great gifts. The fee includes everything you’ll need: a glass terrarium bowl, pebbles and soil, natural materials such as moss, and two mini plants and one terrarium accessory. Make more than one! Terrariums make great gifts.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
