Butterfly & Caterpillar Walk

Join us for a fun and informative walk to discover our local butterflies, caterpillars and other pollinators right in our own nursery! Our own Luke Marston will lead you around the nursery to look for different insects and their host plants. You will learn about the importance of native plants, how to plan a garden to support butterflies and which plants are the best supporters of native caterpillars. You will also learn which caterpillars to stay away from! Expect to see tussock moth caterpillars, brown-hooded owlet moth caterpillars, as well as monarch, great spangled fritillary, skipper, and painted lady butterflies!
This event is free and great for all ages. Bring your family and your friends!
