It’s time to gear up for seed starting. We have seeds, of course, jiffy pots, seed starting mix, humidity domes, heat mats – what you need to get some seeds going. Have you thought about planting your own protein? Lima beans, sunflower seeds, broccoli, edamame, asparagus, peas, kale, dry beans, pumpkin and squash seeds, to name a few.
We feature seeds from Allen, Sterling & Lothrop, located in Falmouth, Maine. New this year – Fedco Seeds a Maine company based in Clinton, Maine. Also, seeds from Renee’s Garden. Later in the season we will have asparagus, potato, strawberry, and onion starters.
