There’s a lot happening this spring. Here’s a bit of what’s in bloom at O’Donal’s.
Walk among the flowering crabapples and take in the light fragrance and colors.
‘Tina’ is one of the smaller flowering crabapples growing to about 10′ tall, and 10′ wide.
‘Purple Prince’ a remarkable rose-red, grows to around 18′ tall, 18′ wide.
‘Donald Wyman’ a bit larger growing to 20′ tall, 20′ wide. Lovely pink buds open to white flowers.
‘Marie Hoffman’ azalea with clear pink flowers.
‘Florence Parks’ perhaps the best purple-flowering rhododendron.
Geum ‘Tempo Orange’ with abundant orange flowers. Perennial.
Centurea ‘Amethyst in Snow’ interesting flowers on a low-mounding plant. Perennial.
‘Desert Eve Yellow’ Yarrow is sure to bring in the butterflies. Perennial.
